We are absolutely delighted to announce that Sunil Shah, CEO, o2h discovery, has won the Special Recognition Award at the industry leading OBN Awards 2019 event organised by OBN (UK) Ltd, the membership organisation that supports the life sciences industry.
The Awards, which are in their 11th year, celebrate the best of UK life sciences – from outstanding scientific innovation within Biotech, Medtech and Digital Health, to the companies that support the industry and the fundraisers that make it happen.
Sunil Shah won the award for “his rare vision and supportive ethos to the companies he invests in: offering support beyond cash alone, but also invaluable experience, contacts and personal time. He has an inspiring passion and enthusiasm for science and business.”
Sunil has been supportive in the growth of early stage biotech in the UK, for which he was also recently awarded the Angel of the Year 2019 by UKBAA. Sunil co-founded o2h ventures along with brother Prashant Shah and launched an S/EIS fund which is the Britain’s first fund backing early stage biotech and AI companies.
