We are pleased to share that o2h community has completed the first stage of its campaign to plant 10,000 trees. The announcement was made in Oct 2019 by Nilesh Dagia, COO, o2h discovery after he received the I2SL- International Institute of Sustainable Labs award for leading the design and execution of the upcoming Shirish Research Park for o2h discovery.
We have collaborated with Vicharta Samuday Samarthan Manch (VSSM), an NGO based out of Ahmedabad which rehabilitates water-starved regions of India. Mittal Patel, the founder of VSSM was recently honoured by the President of India for her contribution to empowering the nomadic communities of Banaskantha, Gujarat. We have started by planting 2000 trees at the Dedol village in the Banaskantha district. The village has been facing a rain deficit for the last few years and we hope that by planting trees we can contribute to restoring a more balanced rainfall pattern.
